SATURDAY NITE CIPHER FOR DETROIT ARTISTS

SATURDAY, April 24th, 2010

DETROIT—Emcee and saxophonist, Saxappeal will be hosting Saturday Nite Cipher at the 5 Elements Gallery from 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

Saturday Nite Cipher is an ongoing mixer series that draws artists and crowds alike from all over the Motor City for an opportunity to network, express and keep Detroit artists motivated fusing musical jam sessions and open mic for poets, rappers and writers together under one roof for pure listening pleasure.

This month’s installment is entitled “SAVE THE E” : A special benefit jam; open mic raising donations to HELP 5 E GALLERY raise funds towards the purchase of a new space, featuring LIVE The Songstress, Gwenation. There will be many other special performances on this evening, helping to raise funds to save 5 E. Saturday Nite Cipher encourages any and everyone who has a performing arts talent to share those talents by joining us in our open mic/jam session.

Entry donations: $7 for one person and $10 for two people.

We will also be accepting donations to help raise monies for 5 E Gallery.
