SATURDAY NITE CIPHER FOR DETROIT ARTISTS

DETROIT—Emcee and saxophonist, Saxappeal will be hosting the fifth installment of Saturday Nite Cipher at the 5 Elements Gallery from 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.
Saturday Nite Cipher is an ongoing mixer series that draws artists and crowds alike from all over the Motor City for an opportunity to network, express and keep Detroit artists motivated fusing musical jam sessions and open mic for poets, rappers and writers together under one roof for pure listening pleasure.
This month’s installment is entitled “HELP HAITI” : A special benefit jam & open mic raising donations to our brothers & sisters in Haiti, featuring LIVE The Music Group recording artist, Vina Mills, & special guest, slam poet Jamaal “Versiz” May. There will be many other special performances on this evening, helping to raise funds to send to Haiti. Saturday Nite Cipher encourages any and everyone who has a performing arts talent to share those talents by joining us in our open mic/jam session.
Entry donations: $7 for one person and $10 for two people.
We will also be accepting donations to help raise monies for the victims in Haiti.
